The Potash North permit areas are contiguously located approximately 20 kms northeast of Mosaic Company's operating Esterhazy K1 and K2 underground potash mines (5.3M tonnes per annum). The southernmost boundary of the Potash North permit areas are located some 45 kms North from Potash Corporation (Potash Corp) of Saskatchewan's Rocanville Mine (3M tonnes per annum). Historical drilling on the potash permit areas has yielded encouraging results and will be followed up on with future potash exploration work.
Surging potash prices substantiate that the global potash demand is exceeding supply. International Potash production is currently dominated by a few major players who are producing at, or near, full capacity. In Canada, the prairies have produced no new potash mines in almost 40 years.
Our experienced technical and financial team is focused on The Potash North Project exclusively. Situated in the "Potash Capital of the World" they are at the ideally located to become the next big potash exploration company.
